Biographie
Après un DMA d'animation à l'ESAAT (Roubaix) où elle reçoit les félicitations du jury pour son film de fin d'études Blanc Blanc, Cloé Coutel complète son apprentissage des techniques d'animation par un DMA3 en alternance aux Films du Nord. C'est dans ce cadre qu'elle développe et réalise Ephémères (2019) un court métrage en papier peint qui fait le portrait de son grand-père.
Depuis lors, elle fait ses premiers pas en tant que metteuse en scène au sein des Films du Nord, où elle réalise son nouveau film, Vague à l'âme en coréalisation avec Angel Binard. Elle affectionne particulièrement expérimenter de nouvelles techniques d'animation.
Biography
Cloé Coutel completed a DMA in animation at the ESAAT (Roubaix) and received the highest distinction for her graduate film Blanc Blanc. She is now working towards a DMA3 in animation, alternating between studying and gaining practical experience at the Films du Nord. It is in this context that she has directed Ephemeras (2019), a short film that presents a portrait of her grandfather against a background of wallpaper.
She is now making her debut as a scenographer with Films du Nord, co-directing a new film entitled Vague à l’âme with Angel Binard. She particularly enjoys experimenting with new animation techniques.
