Eduard Puertas - Biographie

né le 31 décembre 1981 à Ripoll (Espagne)

Eduard Puertas est marionnettiste, animateur stop motion et réalisateur. En 2008, il fonde avec Irene Iborra Rizo le studio d’animation indépendant Citoplasmas Stop Motion, qui produit des courts métrages, des séries TV pour enfants, de la pub, des clips… Il coréalise avec Irene Iborra Citoplasmas en milieu acide, Click, Foamy et Matilda (2018), coproduit avec Arnaud Demuynck.

Parallèlement, Eduard dirige Kinetic Armature qui produit et vend dans le monde entier des armatures, des squelettes et des fournitures pour l’animation en stop motion (www.kineticarmatures.com).

Il fait également partie de l’équipe de coordination du master d’Animation Stop Motion (Centre Universitaire BAU), et anime un canal Youtube @edupuertasfruns où il enseigne le processus de création autour de l’animation stop motion.

Eduard Puertas is a puppet-maker, stop-motion animator and film director. In 2008, he and Irene Iborra Rizo set up the independent animation studio Citoplasmas Stop Motion, which produces short films, TV shows for kids, adverts and video clips. With Irene Iborra, he co-directed Citoplasmas en milieu acide, Click, Foamy and Matilda (2018), which was co-produced with Arnaud Demuynck.

Eduard is also the manager of Kinetic Armature which manufactures and sells armatures, skeletons and other stop-motion animation supplies all over the world (www.kineticarmatures.com).

He is also one of the coordinators of the Stop Motion Animation Master's Degree at the BAU School of Design in Barcelona, and has a Youtube channel @edupuertasfruns via which he teaches stop motion animation techniques.
