Zoltán Horváth - Biographie

née en 1966 à Genève (Suisse)

Né à Genève en 1966,  Zoltán Horváth développe son activité de réalisateur de films d'animation depuis une vingtaine d'années. Ses films sont marqués par une forte originalité graphique, une bonne dose de dérision et des détournements de mythes en cascade. Ils jouent également, chacun à sa manière, avec les codes et stéréotypes du cinéma classique. 

Ses films ont été sélectionnés dans de nombreux festivals prestigieux et ont reçu plus d'une quarantaine de prix. Zoltán Horváth est aussi actif en tant que dessinateur de presse et vidéaste pour spectacles vivants.

Zoltan Horvath was born in Geneva in 1966. He has been a director of animation films for the last 15 years. His work is unique, both in its style and its subject matter; an ironic retelling of some of the greatest legends of our time. He takes on the big themes, in a humorous and attractive way, leading us to new understandings and insights into the stories we thought we already knew.

His films have been selected for many important festivals, and have received more than 40 awards.
