Biographie
Erwann Hette, né le 5 juillet 2003, est un jeune auteur et réalisateur spécialisé dans le cinéma d’animation 2D. Diplômé en 2024 d’un DN MADE Cinéma d’animation à l’ESAAT, il développe une sensibilité particulière pour les récits sociaux et historiques.
Au cours de sa formation, il effectue un stage aux Rencontres Audiovisuelles à Lille, où il se familiarise avec le vidéo mapping. Cette expérience lui ouvre de nouvelles perspectives autour des projections éphémères en extérieur et des installations muséales, qu’il perçoit comme des terrains d’expression innovants.
Actuellement, il travaille sur son premier court-métrage, Scratch, produit par Les Films du Nord. Ce film de 7 minutes, entre fiction et documentaire animé, aborde les difficultés d’un enfant autiste, ses intérêts spécifiques, et l’implication de son instituteur et de son AVS dans son intégration.
Dans sa pratique artistique, il souhaite mettre son savoir-faire au service de causes humaines et sociétales ; il affectionne particulièrement l’hybridation des techniques et des médiums, adaptant toujours la forme à son propos plutôt que l’inverse.
Biography
Erwann Hette, born on July 5, 2003, is a young writer and director specializing in 2D animation. After graduating in 2024 with a DN MADE in Animated Cinema from ESAAT, he developed a particular sensitivity to social and historical narratives.
During his training, he did an internship at the Rencontres Audiovisuelles in Lille, where he became familiar with video mapping. This experience opened up new perspectives on ephemeral outdoor projections and museum installations, which he sees as innovative fields of expression.
He is currently working on his first short film, Scratch, produced by Les Films du Nord. This 7-minute film, somewhere between fiction and animated documentary, deals with the difficulties of an autistic child, his specific interests, and the involvement of his teacher and AVS in his integration.
In his artistic practice, he wishes to put his know-how at the service of human and societal causes; he is particularly fond of hybridizing techniques and media, always adapting the form to his subject rather than the other way round.
